How was the world changed by the Age of Exploration?
Many aspects of the world was changed by the age of exploration like ideas and beliefs, ways of life, plants, animals and unfortunately disease. If explorers such as Christopher Columbus, Ferdinand Magellan and Vasco Da Gama didn't go out and explore the world we wouldn't have an extensive knowledge of the world around us, we wouldn't know what is out there in the world. Some of the food and animals today we wouldn't of even know about, if people didn't go out and explore. If Magellan didn't circumnavigate the globe, we would have of still believed that the world was flat and that if we go too far we would just fall off, which they believed at the time. If people didn't go out and map the world today we would not have the most accurate map of the world and we wouldn't know how big the world really is. We would not have the advance in sea navigation if navigators didn't go out and test them out. The sea would have been a dangerous place for we would have no idea of which way we were going and were we were if they didn't map out the world.
